Speech
Difficulties
Sh-sh-shoot!
That girl noticed you checking her out. She turns to her
girlfriend and giggles. But then she looks over at you again
and smiles.
You
hope she doesn't come over now. If you open your mouth,
you'll make a fool of yourself. Once the game starts you
can show off on the field. Maybe you could go for an ice
cream afterwards. You're always more relaxed after the game.
Maybe you won't trip all over your words.
Oh
no, here she comes. You start to walk away, but it's too
late. She says hello and asks you if you're on the team.
"Bh-b-b-bh . . . hello! D-d-defense!" you sputter.
