Hallucinations
They
are trying to keep you from sleeping. You are not sure who
they are, but they are probably the boys from the house
next door. Every time you lie down they start talking outside
your window, whispering your name. They say they'll get
you as soon as you fall asleep and that you had better watch
out.
But
those boys are quick. When you run to the window, they're
not there. Sometimes you see just a shadow over by the garage,
like someone staring back at you.
