Grandiosity
You
are shocked; the promotion went to that lousy sycophant,
when you really deserved it. You even came in on time one
day last week so that you could be on hand during the new
boss's visit. You also pitched in with the others to buy
her a welcome bouquet, though you figured out a way to slip
in a card with just your name on it. You're sure your coworkers
would have done the same, if they'd been smart enough to
think of it.
Well,
who wants to work for such an unappreciative queen anyway?
You decide to call in sick and stay away from the office
for a few days. Let her think you're going to leave. Then
she'll regret passing over you.
This
